Term: May 1, 2022 to April 30, 2027
Keith is the owner and pharmacist manager of Lewisville Drug Company, a Mutual Drug independent pharmacy located in Lewisville, NC. A 2002 graduate of the Campbell University School of Pharmacy, Keith has over 28 years’ total experience in community pharmacy. His first pharmacy job was as a delivery driver for his cousin’s independent pharmacy near his hometown of Logan, WV. It was then that he began to see the impact that a pharmacist could have on a person’s life, and how it came to be known as one of America’s most trusted professions. That part-time job has turned into a career where he still feels that pharmacists can and do make an indelible impact on patient’s lives.
Keith has served his community as a pharmacist for almost 15 years. Upon graduation, he worked for Bi-Lo Pharmacy and Wal-Mart Pharmacy in the Winston-Salem, NC area. In 2005, Keith opened Lewisville Drug Company. Their goal was to do to what Keith had seen at his first job in an independent pharmacy, provide excellent care to their patients and be a positive influence in their community.
In addition to his duties at Lewisville Drug and the NC Board of Pharmacy, Keith serves on the Mutual Drug Board of Directors, Mutual Drug Retail Advisory Committee, and is a member of the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) and the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists (NCAP). Keith is a member of Old Town Baptist Church, where he has served as a deacon, on various committees, Sunday School teacher, and as one of the organizers of the Old Town Medical Clinic, which includes serving as one of pharmacists for the clinic.
Keith lives in Lewisville, NC with his wife Sara (a pharmacist at Novant Health Oncology Services) and their boys, Riley (8) and Andrew (6).
